About the Founder
Founder’s Audit was founded by Gina Yu, a CPA based in the Atlanta, GA area, with experience supporting both on site and remote clients across startups and small businesses.
Gina began her career in professional services at Deloitte, where financial rigor, accuracy, and disciplined reporting were foundational. As she went on to work more closely with SMEs and startup companies, she noticed a consistent gap in how financial support was delivered to founders.
Many businesses had bookkeeping in place, but little in the way of forecasting, FP&A, or decision support. Financials were accurate, yet largely backward looking. As a result, founders were often left confused paying for accounting services that kept records clean, but didn’t help them plan, evaluate tradeoffs, or make informed decisions about growth.
Founder’s Audit was built to address that gap.
Gina is passionate about helping founders move beyond historical reporting toward practical, forward looking financial insight. By combining CPA level financial rigor with hands on FP&A experience, Founder’s Audit helps founders understand their numbers, anticipate what’s ahead, and use financial data as a tool for decision making not just compliance.
